October is my birthday month and also the month I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, 30 October, 1997. Not only the night before Haloween but also considered Devils night, when evil is out in force and does lots of damage.In real terms children egg cars and houses and do naughty things like that.

I almost forgot that this important week is upon us. As a two time breast cancer survivor I strive to bring awareness to everyone about this terrible disease. Evidently breast cancer awareness is still not reaching everyone. The people who have already been touched by breast cancer in one way or another are taking notice and that is wonderful.
