An Invitation From Stretch Your Life

(posted on behalf of Karen Toth)

Is massage they greatest thing out there? (We like to think so!) Often, though, clients present with conditions that are assisted greatly by other modalities.

Four exprienced therapists will present us with an overview and time for discussion on:

  • Acupuncture (with David Schroevalier, College of Acupuncture and Therapeutics)
  • Shiatsu (Patricia Berreta, Roberts Centre of Intergrated Medicine)
  • Bowen (Barb Brendenmuehl, K-W Massage Therapist with over 20 years' experience), and Feldenkrais (Karen Toth, Stretch Your Life)

What is the basis of these therapies and how do they help specific conditions? When would we refer our clients to one of these therapies? Who's out there? What qualifications should we be looking out for, for our clients to seek?

Come and explore the answers to these and other burning questions!

Please let me know if you plan to attend.

About the Series

RMT Masterclass Series was created in 2007 to fill a need within the Tri-city area for short, lecture style seminars at a reasonable price, on topics of interest to registered massage therapists specifically, and health practitioners in general. These high calibre lectures are taught at a post-graduate level and are of significant benefit to working therapists. Topics centre around the musculoskeletal system and will further therapists' understanding, assessment and treatment of the body. Notable speakers are drawn from the fields of massage therapy, osteopathy, kinesiology, physiotherapy, chiropractic and business as well as other traditional and alternative health professions.
