At the 7th annual Guelph Awards of Excellence Gala on June 14th, Platypi Designs was awarded the Guelph Quality Awards (GQA) certificates in the categories of Planning and People Focus.
These certificates are given to companies who have demonstrated excellent quality in each particular area of focus, and three companies were presented certificates for 2006.
There are 6 certificates in total to be earned through the GQA process and once a company has obtained all 6 certificates they are eligible to apply for the prestigious Guelph Quality Award Business Excellence Trophy. Platypi Designs intends to continue to work on and submit the other 4 certificate applications in order to be able to qualify for the GQA Business Excellence Trophy in the future.
