Adp Small Business Grant Content

Do you own a small business or know someone that does? Could your business benefit from a boost to realize its true potential?

Well…how about entering the ADP Small Business Grant Contest? The contest is back for a fourth year, with six $10,000 grants available to small businesses (up to 99 employees) in Canada, and it’s super easy to apply. The contest opened for entries on October 1, 2015, with the first of six monthly voting periods beginning on November 1. The final voting period closes on April 30th, 2016.

Six winning companies will each receive $10,000, plus up to $3,500 in waived payroll services for one year.

Here’s what past winners of the contest have to say:

Le Doggy Café, Montreal’s first “dog café”, was the first winner from Fall 2014. Owner, Gabrielle Aubin used the grant to equip the café with custom-made furniture to comfortably accommodate customers and their furry companions.

“Before the grant, we were just two girls with an idea. We are now a unique business, which allows people and dogs to enjoy a meal in the each other’s company,” said Gabrielle Aubin, owner of Le Doggy Café.

Windsor-based, Art InDeed, a company that offers creative holistic arts-based programs for children, families, seniors and those with special needs, has made great progress since winning the grant a year ago.

“We are running more efficiently, we have better resources in the office, and we’re on our way to acquiring our new studio space,” said Danah Beaulieu, Owner of Art InDeed.

The incredible response to the ADP Grant Contest, and all of the success stories we’re hearing from our winners, reminds us that small businesses are the economic lifeline of communities across Canada. Behind every small business, there's a story worth knowing, and ADP is more than happy to support entrepreneurs and give back.
