Supporting A Good Cause

The SBCN is pleased to be making a donation to this years Stroll for Liver event.

Many of you have enjoyed the Beehive Game being hosted by Michael Fletcher of Neworld Coaching. Please see the note below from Michael's wife: Dawn, who is raising money as part of this wonderful event...

As most of you know, I lost my Mother to liver disease on her 61st birthday (July 15th, 2003). As I approach the 4 year anniversary of her death I feel drawn now to try to help in finding a cure for the disease that she faught so hard to conquer. I will be "strolling the river for liver" on June 9th and I humbly ask you to please sponsor me for this event. There are 100 forms of liver disease and only 1 is caused by alcohol. My mother aquired her liver disease from diabetes and she suffered from it greatly. Please help me to help the Canadian Liver Foundation. This cause is very important to me. I dedicate this walk and virtually all of my life's accomplishments to the most wonderful woman that I ever had the pleasure to know...my Mom! Shelley Smith (July 15, 1942-July 15, 2003)

You have been invited to pledge Dawn Smith in Stroll for Liver 2007 in support of the Canadian Liver Foundation.
