So many of us are taught to put our heads down, do good work and eventually someone will notice you, but that doesn't work in today's fast and noisy era. 
It's as if we're told to be successful, but don't talk about success. 
My book, Bragging Rights: How to Talk about Your Work Using Purposeful Self-Promotion launches on May 11. Early reviewers are giving it five-stars and are telling me they're making notes all over the book (a sign of success).
