[Hospices ](http://www.hospice.on.ca/how%20you%20can%20help/howyoucanhelp.html)provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to help people with terminal illnesses to live at home or in a home-like setting as fully and as comfortably as possible.

  The focus of hospice is on caring, not curing – and on life, not death. Quality of life, family wellness, community involvement and living in dignity are all part of hospice’s compassionate vision.

  Our goal is to ensure that everyone - no matter where they live - has access to consistent, high quality and compassionate hospice care - for all family members - to help sustain them during one of the most difficult periods in their lives.
