 Networking is on everyone's mind, it is just a shame that a lot of people still don't get the idea. Having a shelf full of pots you don't use and dusting them off now and then seems a waste of time - yes? The same applies to connections on here, on LinkedIn, Twitter - anywhere you network. Your connections are not your COLLECTIONS and you dust them off when you need them - build a relationship and get to know them and ask how they are, if you can offer assistance, it really does work:) Yes we all want to sell, but selling like a dinosaur makes you look a bit foolish in this day and age.
