Dave Ockwell-Jenner

Dave Ockwell-Jenner has an extensive background in technology: from building one of the Internet’s earliest major web sites, to helping secure some of the world’s most critical systems. He has led the development of solutions for some of Canada’s most prominent technology companies, including Research in Motion and Nortel.

But technology is only half the picture. To be successful also requires skilled communication, clear judgement and a desire to help others reach their potential. Throughout his career, Dave has combined these elements to lead people to exceed their goals and aspire to be brilliant.

He currently owns and operates Prime Information Security, a boutique consulting practice helping small businesses value and protect the information they possess. Dave also helps develop training material, teaching up-and-coming technology professionals how to create more secure solutions. Along with his wife, Linda, Dave also finds time to run the Small Business Community Network (SBCN).
